oooh it has such potential! love the foyer! i can't wait to see what you do! where did you end up buying?
ReplyDeleteWe ended up in the Rockville area - love it!
DeleteYay! You did it! You listen to me! You are gonna have SO much to do..and lots and lots to blog about! I'm so glad your back!
ReplyDelete{I used an exclamation point on every dang sentence...but that's how excited I am...}
It is going to look great! That fireplace...nice! And the foyer is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThanks! It might take a few years, but the house is a good one. Most people would paint the fireplace, but I'm pretty sure that won't be me :)
DeleteThis is going to be me soon.... =/ Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's hectic for sure, but worth it. Good luck!
DeleteOh come on! That yellow toilet is going to be the next big thing, bigger than chevron!! Soon Pinterest is going to be awash with yellow toilets everywhere!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Thanks for that Kristina - I really needed the laugh :) I'm kind of partial to the turquoise toilet and sink in the master...but the yellow may be growing on me...go ahead and you be the first to pin it...I dare ya!
DeleteEven with all it's warts, you can see the potential! As tough as moving is, it's also exciting to have a new space to work with. Good luck unpacking everything!
ReplyDeleteWhew, this is more space than I think I'm ready to handle Vickie! This may be years in the making :)
DeleteHOME SWEET HOME!
ReplyDeleteCongrat's and can't wait to see all the changes...what is first?!

Every nook and cranny of your new house is beautiful. I know it's a bit late, but I would still like to congratulate you, Jill, for having this gorgeous home. I can't wait to see how everything turns out.
ReplyDeleteI know exactly how you feel. I also felt a bit overwhelmed when we moved into our first home. That time, all that I can think about was the amount of work that needed to be done. Anyway, congratulations on your new home. I hope you have fun decorating every room in your house.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Jill! Your house looks gorgeous! So, have you finished arranging your furniture?
ReplyDeleteI know it is easy to get overwhelmed when you look at all the things that you need to sort and arrange. But don't worry, I'm sure you will find a way to get everything done in no time. :) Just pick a spot and go from there. Have fun decorating!
ReplyDeleteThat exciting feeling when you walk in a house you can call your own is definitely awesome! Well, I think, by this time you’re all settled. Congratulations, Jill! =)
ReplyDeleteWhoa! That was a lot of work! I’m sure you’re all settled in nice and comfy by now. I love your kitchen tiles, by the way. They may be old, but they still stand out. I’ve been meaning to have those black and white tiles too. Maybe next year, I’ll do it! =)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the new home! Hah, I can definitely relate with the stress of packing up, and then unpacking everything again! It can be tedious to begin settling in to your new home. It’s really when you’re finished and everything is in place that the place starts to feel like it’s your own place, so all the blood, sweat and tears are definitely worth it in the end.
